Kids can discover the inner workings of music with How Music Works, a completely free class for Wellington Music Centre students.



Description
How Music Works class is a weekly 30-minute group session led by expert music teacher Joe Issa. The class introduces beginner students to the fascinating language of music through musical games, activities and exercises. The How Music Works programme is designed to be the perfect companion for students in their first or second year of instrumental classes at Wellington Music Centre.

What will students do in the class?
In these engaging 30-minute sessions, students will build a solid foundation in the core concepts of music-making, putting them on a fast-track to musical confidence.

Who can enrol for How Music Works?
All level 1 instrument and voice students at Wellington Music Centre are automatically enrolled into a How Music Works class– families can select a preferred time or opt-out during the enrolment process.
Students in more advanced instrumental classes may also enrol for How Music Works on request – the class is designed for beginners, but will be fun and accessible to everyone. Get in touch if you'd like to enrol a level 2/3 student.
