Explore music at Wellington Music Centre!
In this special class for our smallest musicians, kids and caregivers have fun taking their first steps learning about music together.
Music Explorers is led by Wellington Music Centre’s charismatic Music Director Peter Liley and violinist Miru Shimaoka. Together, big people and small people will get started with singing, rhythm, listening, and learning about many wonderful musical instruments. Becoming a Music Explorer will spark joy and curiosity for music from the very beginning of you child's journey.
Accessibility: Music Explorers is an relaxed class in which we welcome all children who want a fun and easy start to music, including neurodivergent and special needs children. Younger siblings (younger than 5) are also welcome in the class. Families may leave early or take a break for a week if the kids need it.
Enrol by term
Music Explorers enrols and runs term-by-term to give families flexibility. Explorers big and small are welcome to join for a single term, several terms, or the whole year!
Fees
$49 | first child in family - this is your first enrolment for 2024
$37 | second child in family - you have already enrolled an older/younger sibling at WMC
