Our Open Day 2024 is the perfect chance for your kids to informally try out some musical instruments, meet our teachers, and get a sense of what our school is like before you sign up!

How will the open day work?
This will be an informal morning, with our friendly teachers at stations around the grounds at Miramar North School. Enjoy wandering around and exploring the different sounds, techniques and styles that we teach!
Feel free to investigate any or all of our instruments and chat with the teachers. The kids can even try some out if they're interested! Our staff are all great musicians that would love to play for you and give tips about getting starting in music.
If your kids are keen to get playing, you can enrol with WMC online on the day.
Can I come if my kids are already enrolled?
If you're new to Wellington Music Centre and would like to meet your teacher ahead of lessons officially beginning on 17th Feb, you're more than welcome to come along!
If you've learned with WMC before and already know your teacher, we'll see you for the first day of lessons.
